For those of you that have joined us over the last 3 years you know you’re in for a shucking oyster overload, we mean that in an indulging way of course! For those that are new to our annual Oyster Festival get ready to shuck, suck and eat these beautiful bivalves in many ways you didn’t realize were possible.

 

This August we will sea our chef’s shucking crazy for our $1.50 daily Oyster Hour every Wednesday as well as staff boasting oyster regions with love and our guests singing ‘the world is their oyster’ from our Balcony. Our Executive Chef Sean Connolly has curated a specialty oyster menu with mollusks dressed to impress, the classic favorite Carpet Bag Steak and some new oysterliciosus surprises. In addition to these amazing eats we will have Oysters Sips (they are an aphrodisiac after all right?) and competitions to potentially win you the perfect stay’cation here in Byron Bay.

Oyster Hour of Power gets shucking better when Oyster Festival hits the bay. It’s not just a Wednesday get together anymore, it’s an everyday of the week shucking  zink overload for the month.

 

Get your bivalve fix every afternoon between 5-6pm, Shuck Yeah!

Shuck, suck & eat them raw, our chefs are all about freshly shucked to order for pure, plump goodness. Although fresh & natural is always best a little dressing with have those taste buds blown away and singing for more.

Bottoms Up

 

Shucked and brewed, we’ve worked alongside Stone & Wood Brewery to bring you a creation to sip into Oyster bliss. With 6kg of Oysters added into the boil alongside citrus hop, orange and grapefruit peel, Balcony Belgian Witbier is slightly savory on the front palate finishing dry and vibrant.

 

Come and get Hazy on this tasty drop, they say oyster are an aphrodisiac.. We’ll take three please.

WIN – The perfect Stay’cation

 

Our Friends Benny & Betty have been on a tour of town. After last years trip they have revisited some of their favorites spots and are keen to share with you. Take a peak at their tour and tell us where you think they have been.
